    We're so excited about your interest in the Beta Chi Chapter of Kappa Delta's annual Shamrock 'N' Run 5K. The family-friendly 5K is an event for all ages: we welcome students and families (we even have babysitting). The event will be held on Februrary 23, 2013. 
     

    The 20th annual Shamrock ‘N’ Run 5K benefits the prevention of child abuse by supporting the Durham Center for Child and Family Health and Prevent Child Abuse America. The Kappa Delta’s are passionate about the cause and are excited to put on another successful Shamrock. We feel that by bringing the community together, we can help fight this ever-present problem in society in hopes of creating a stronger future for kids everywhere.

     

    Last year, we raised over $72,000! Join us again this February in helping to fight child abuse. There will be post-race activities and a breakfast at the Kappa Delta house following the race.

     

    All runner participants will receive a runner t-shirt and a runner bag. The top three 5K runners in each category will receive a prize. In addition, the evening before the race we will hold a completely green pre-race dinner at the Kappa Delta house. 


     

    The Shamrock 'n' Run Race Course is USATF Certified, NC-04072-PH.
